From Brainuary to All-Year Support!

What began as a campaign (Brainuary!) to support our community through the winter blues has become an ongoing effort to equip, encourage, educate, and support the mental health of our people. We will continue to bring a variety of virtual events, learning opportunities, creative projects, and more to help our peers and friends find the support they need to thrive.

For creatives, the weight of producing good work under normal stress can be tough enough - and now we seem to be having an epidemic of paralyzing stress. It affects our work, of course, but it also affects our relationships, our sense of value as creatives, and most importantly, our sense of purpose.

Ways We Support You

A new-ish term we love to throw around at the studio is “experiments in conversation”. There’s a fine line between vulnerability and advocacy. We want to empower our communities, and may not know the best ways to do it. Through experimental conversation and mindshare, we can educate each other. We don’t just want to bring you talks, we want you to enrich the conversation. At the very heart of this whole effort is a fulfillment of so many things we are all short on: validation, acknowledgment, and empathy. Join us!

Here are some topics we plan to to cover in the future:
